The Safety Zone is an area down the side of the pitch outside of the wooden pitch boards and is marked by a White Line. The Safety Zone is there for your safety in case ponies step outside the wooden pitch boards during a game. PLEASE DO NOT ENTER THE SAFETY ZONE WHEN A GAME (CHUKKA) IS IN PROGRESS.

- Yes, you can bring your dog but please keep it under control at all times.
- Please keep dogs off the field of play
- Please clean up after them
- Polo is a family sport and many of the players will bring their families with them.
- Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult
- Supervised children can go and visit the ponies. (Please don't get too close or pet the ponies without the permission of the owner)
- Keep children well away from the edge of the pitch, Everyone must stay behind the white line marking the safety run-off zone during play.
- The polo matches usually start at 11am and continue until 5pm
- Times are approximate and subject to change as stoppages can delay play.
- Yes, although the polo will start at 11am there are no strict rule about arriving and leaving.
- Please be considerate to other guests when arriving and leaving.
- If possible please leave between matches/chukkas.
- Please do not drive in the safety pony run-off zone
- Yourselves, friends and a picnic!
- You can picnic out of the boot of your car or bring tables, chairs, rugs.
- You can bring gazebos and parasols, the polo lawns are very open and offer little shade.
- Bring warm layers for a windy day and a hat for a sunny day.
- Yes, there are toilets at the top end of the polo grounds and also in the Club House. If you are not sure please ask in the bar or the bus.
- If a guest has limited mobility please ask to park near the toilets.
- If the weather conditions are such that it becomes unsafe for the ponies and players the matches will be stopped.
- If the weather conditions mean it is unsafe to play on the day the tournament day will be cancelled and you will be refunded.
- As long as conditions allow play will continue in the rain
- Please dress appropriately for the weather.
- When you arrive you will be given a free copy of the Cambridge County Polo Club POLO Magazine. You will find the basic rules of the game inside along with team and player profiles.
- Extra copies will be available in the bar
- Our commentators will explain the rules and intricacies of the game during the matches.
- On the online booking system you can only book one car at a time, so please just repeat the booking process for each subsequent car.
- Coming by Taxi: Please use the online booking system and when you are asked for your car registration just enter "Taxi"
- By Bike: If you are booking a group and are arriving by bike. Please use the online booking system and when you are asked for your car registration just enter "Bike" Please try to arrive together as a group.
